Biography
Overall, my research background as a materials chemist comprehends the study of rotational dynamics and photophysics in porous crystalline materials (PCMs). Since my undergraduate studies, I have studied molecular rotors incorporated in metal organic frameworks (MOFs), using solid-state NMR (ssNMR) as a focal characterization tool. Currently I am pursuing a PhD degree at the University of Rochester, where now my research focuses in the study of low-frequency vibrations using Raman and Terahertz spectroscopies in these porous materials. On the contrary, outside of the laboratory I incline towards high frequency workouts, outdoor activities like hiking or camping, and reading novels.
