Research Interests
Alex is a student at Reed College, set to graduate in 2026, where I am majoring in chemistry and physics. She has worked with Dr. Jesus Daniel Loya and Dr. Gonzalo Campillo-Alvarado on organic crystal synthesis and analysis, with particular focuses on cocrystalization of pharmaceuticals and synthesizing molecular sponges through boron nitrogen conjugation. Outside of the lab, Alex enjoys introducing students to her favorite subjects by working as a tutor and a TA for introductory level physics and chemistry courses, as well as hiking and spending time with her dogs.
